History and Location
M. Simoens & C° was set up in March 1972 in Kortrijk. The city of Kortrijk is by nature European, beign situated in close proximity to the large ports of the North Sea Coast and to the capitals of the founding countries of the EU. Due to the entrepreneurship of it's people it is known as the 'Texas of Flanders'. Over a period of 35 years the office has grown from 2 persons to the 15 now working in it, 5 of these being members of the Belgian institute of certified accountants. The firm has a highly automated and integrated computer system.
Profile of Clients
The firm has approximately 400 clients, more than 80% of which are firms which require accountancy assistance. They comprise industrial and commercial firms and are mostly typical young medium sized firms.
