Legal structure and Disclaimer
The AAAE is a European Economic Interest Group (EEIG) which is a non-profit making corporate body governed by the European Union Council Regulation (EEC) No.2137/85, and which provides no services to clients. It is registered in France with the number C385 285 722. The members are European business advisory firms, each of which is a separate and independent legal entity and as such has no liability for the acts or omissions of any other member firm. The AAAE does not fall within the definition of “network” under the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) Code of Ethics, Section 290 and the European Union Statutory Audit (revised 8th Company Law) Directive.

Terms and Conditions for the use of this website
1. Definitions
In these terms and conditions “we” and “us” means the Association of Accountants and Auditors in Europe (AAAE), a European Economic Interest Grouping registered in France at 156 Chaussée Pierre Curie, 59200, Tourcoing.
2. Access to the Website and content
2.1 The purpose of this website is to provide information regarding our individual member firms and the services they provide. The information on this website is intended for general guidance only and cannot and does not constitute advice. The site content is designed to relate to matters of relevance for the personal and/or business use of the site visitor. As a site visitor you are deemed to have accepted full responsibility for the use that you make of this website and the various online services provided and accessible therein. The information on this website and information arising from any searches generated from it is provided on the understanding that we as an organisation are not engaged in providing any form of direct accounting, taxation, business or legal services in any format what so ever. In other words, we are not providing any advice or consultation through the medium of the content of this website. Substantive advice can only be given by individual members of AAAE on the basis of specific terms of engagement agreed in writing.

9.1 These terms are governed by and to be construed in accordance with English law.
